Snowmobiling at Monte Cristo

Today Matt and I were able to get out, kind of like a date... But not really that romantic :) Anyone that knows Matt, knows that he loves to hit the mountains as long as it has a motor moving it. We had a great time riding thru all the powder and pulling Matt out (Matt might need a new back) I did not get to take alot of pictures because I left the memory card in the computer but I took this with the phone.

Merry Christmas

We began the Christmas Holiday by having the Hunter Family over for Christmas Eve. We made yummy homemade pizza's and the kids played. Then the girls opened one present, PJ's, before they headed off to bed. Matt left to pick up the "Big Christmas present" once we knew the girls were asleep.
Kingston aka King Kong ( Justice came up with that nickname )
At 8 am we sent King in to wake the girls. They were pretty surprised and excited. They had all asked Santa for a puppy. ( Matt and I might have had some influence in that) We asked Santa for a puppy too :)

Madison is opening up her barbie car from Georgia. From the look on her face she loved it.
Later on that afternoon Aunt Becky, Aunt Nat, Uncle John and the Boys came up. We ate diner and hung out. Matt and I are so thankful to have such a great family. We love you all so very much!!

Our Little Ballerina's

Today Georgia and Madison had their Christmas dance program. The girls did a little dance to Rudolf The Red Nose Reindeer. What great little reindeer they made. They were so good, following the teachers instructions and listening. Matt and I are so proud of them.

I thought that this was a cute picture.

Dress Up

Normally when the girls all play dress up, Brooklyn will just watch. Not this time, Justice decided that Brooklyn was going to be her little model. Justice helped her little sister get dressed and undressed. You just got to love it when they get along! Brooklyn is becoming one of the girls.

New Set Of Wheels

No, I did not get a new car, but I did get a new bicycle. I have been really good this year so Santa gave me an early christmas present ( He knew just what I wanted )
Justice and I have gone on a couple of bike rides but it seems that snow has put an end to that for now.

All Aboard! The Polar Express

I thought it would be fun to take the girls to see Santa Clause on the Polar Express. As our journey began to the North Pole, Santa's elfs handed out yummy chocolate chip cookies and hot coco. Shortly after, Mrs. Clause came thru and wished the girls a Merry Christmas.

Then we read the story "The Polar Express". By this time the girls were getting anxious to see Santa Clause.
Soon we were at the North Pole where Santa Clause hopped on board. Justice was quite a sight when she found out Santa Clause was coming aboard. She was hiding behind Matt scared to death of Santa.
He did finally make his way to us and gave each of the girls a silver bell.

The Polar Express was alot of fun and it's definitely something that we will do again.

Falling Down The Bunny Hill

My sister Jamie came to visit and she has always wanted to try/go snowboarding. We decided to go to Brighton Ski resort. We started on the bunny hill where Jamie was traumatized when getting off the lift for the first, second , third... time. Going down the bunny hill was fun but she was scared of getting off the lift.
On our last run of the day I thought it would be fun to try one of the bigger runs... we should have stuck to the bunny hill. If Jamie would have had it her way, I think that she would have pushed me off the mountain :)

Sunny San Diego

They were not kidding when they said Sunny San Diego. We had a great time on our first family road trip. All in all, the girls did pretty well on the 13 hour drive. Brooklyn got a little fussy but that was do to the fact that she really did not sleep.
On our first day we went to Torrey Pines which is a Beach near Becky's house. The water was really cold so we did not jump in but the girls got to play in the sand and run through the water.

Later on that day Aunt Becky took the girls to Libby Lu's. They had so much fun. Each of the girls picked out a hairdo, got their finger nails polished, and had their make-up done. Then they each made a cute bracelet with their names on it and picked out goodie bags.
Georgia was a Sassy Princess, Justice was a Rockin Rock Star and Madison was a Punk Rocker.

On day two, we hit Sea World. The shows were awesome, especially the Shamu Show: Believe! Georgia's favorite part was Elmo's Flying Fish ( which we must have ridden on 5 times ). Madison and Justice's favorite part was the "Pets Rule" show.
Matt and Brooklyn waiting for Shamu

Riding on the rides at SeaWorldThis is just a cute picture of Georgia and Madison "trying" to share some chips while we are waiting for our turn in line.

On Day 3, we went to The San Diego Zoo. I can honestly say that that they have every animal that you can think of there. We were able to visit the Panda Bear Exhibit, see a Hippo up close, see the Polar Bears and see the Grizzly Bears.
The girls favorite part of the zoo was watching the Otters swim and riding the lift across the zoo.
The zoo was huge and we did get lost a couple of times :)

Taking a ride on a Turtle :)

The next Day we headed off to the The Wild Animal Park. It kind of reminded you of a scene out of Jurassic Park. We got to see some baby elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and many more animals.

On Wednesday Dave had the day off from work so he showed us around. First we headed out to Del Corondo Island and the girls rode their bikes. Then we drove down to Imperial Beach and walked the length of the peir.
Matt and Dave at the end of the peir

After Del Colondo Island we went to La Jolla which was truely beautifully. We went down their to see all the seals that gather up on the rocks along the beach.

On Thanksgiving, we went over to Becky's house to have dinner. Aunt Becky and the girls decorated notebooks. The girls love to do crafts and each of them turned out really cute.

I think that we went swimming just about everyday that we were in San Deigo. It was like diving into a bathtub, so warm!!
We had a great time :)
Thanks Again Becky

Just One Of The Girls

So I have to give Matt some credit because this is definitely way out of Matt's manly comfort zone. The other night the girls all wanted to get their fingernails and toenails painted. I was right in the middle of something so Matt being the great dad that he is, volunteered to do it. I have to admit I was really surprised that he offered and they all turned out pretty.

On a side note... I took Madison to the eye Dr's today. She has a tear duct that does not drain. The nurse gave Madison a big black spoon to put over her eye and told her to look in the mirror and tell her what she saw. (By looking into the mirror Madddy should have seen the pictures on the wall that were behind her. )
In the meantime I told Madison that she looked like a pirate with a patch over her eye. The nurse asked Madison what she saw in the mirror and Madison kept telling her that she saw a pirate. Then out of nowhere she told the nurse she saw Dora and Boots ?
Needless to say it was a very entertaining trip to the Dr's. Justice and I could not stop laughing :)

Cold Minnesota

I just got the opportunity to go to Minnesota for work and spend some time with my sister Jamie. Its been about 7 or 8 years since I have been to the freezing state. Just long enough to forget how cold it is. I did work some long hours but I did get to spend some time with Jamie. Love ya Jamie!! I don't know what I would do without you!! XOXOX

Happy Halloween

This year for Halloween we went up to my office building. Matt and I took the girls around to all the offices and they went office to office trick or treating. Madison was really shy at first, it took her a little bit to warm up to the whole idea of trick-or-treating. Brooklyn on the other hand was right into it from the get go, she had no issues getting treats :)

Once the buckets were full from my office we decided to make a pitstop at the house before hitting our own block. It did not take long before the girls were tired.......One block. All in all the girls had a great time.

Brooklyn was a skunk. This costume totally fits her personality, she truly is a little stinker

Halloween Costume Party

Justice's pre-school class had a Halloween costume party. The parents got to come see them walk in a parade and then sing some scary Halloween songs. The twins, Brook and I all went to watch Justice but for some reason Justice got really shy and would not stand with her friends. She told her teacher that she did not know all these people ( all the other parents ). Justice never ceases to surprise me. Justice of all people is not shy in the least bit.

Justice Can Tie Her Shoes

So this is one of those mile-stones that I am very happy to have reached as a parent. Matt and Justice worked on it all night Sunday and she even took her shoe to bed with her to practice. Justice was really eager to learn and she was tying her shoes like a pro in no time.

Pumpkin Fun

The girls and I went to get pumpkins earlier this week. Justice picked out he biggest pumpkin at 29 pounds. Justice picked out a happy face while Madison and Georgia wanted scary faces.
Georgia was not crazy about getting her hands all yucky but Justice, Madison and BookerBeee didn't seem to mind.

Jungle Jim's Playland

This weekend we took the girls to Jungle Jim's. Definitely something different:) They had a carousal, swings, rocket ships and a roller coaster ( that Matt & I fit on )The roller coaster was pretty fast... I thought for sure that someone was going to be scared but every single face had a smile from ear to ear. Brooklyn was big enough that she able ride on all the rides. Justice was such a good big sister and sat with her:)

Roasting Marshmallows

On Friday our friend Josh Jacobs came in to town from the great state of Georgia. Matt and Josh became good friend while serving in the USAF together. We had a fire and roasted some marshmallows together. It was really great to see Josh again and to catch up.

Matt's New Project

So anyone who knows Matt understands that he loves to work in the garage. He has been talking about installing a turbo on his Raptor for the longest time. This last month before Matt came home boxes were coming in the mail. Boxes that I did not give a second thought to, I would just put them in the garage. Well finally the last box arrived. The Turbo. So the project begins....

Riding Solo

So Justice is a big girl for sure, she no longer has training wheels on her bike. She has asked me a couple of times to take them off .. But I told her that she needed to wait until her Daddy came home. So now that Matt is back from Iraq the training wheels have come off. So at first, dad had to run beside her but before long she was off and pedaling. Then the next obstacle was getting started. But with lots of help from Justice's friends; Josh, Justin and Jeron she has mastered the skill.

Snow...

I can't believe how much snow fell... I don't think that in the whole 9 years that Matt and I have lived in Utah it has snowed this much in October. When the girls saw all the snow, they could not wait to get out there and play. I was alittle skeptical whether or not the twins would actually play in the snow. ( Last year they would stand in the garage while Justice played ) Brooklyn loved the snow too... At first she keep on pulling her gloves off but then I think that she realized that they would keep her hands warm:)

Of course Matt could not pass up a chance to get the snowmobile out and give the girls a ride around the yard!!

Here is just a cute picture of Matt and the girls, Its been great having him home :)

Black Island Farms

Justice's pre-school class went on a field trip to Black Island Farms and the whole family was invited to come along. We had a couple of minutes before the tractor ride began to slide on the big slides.
The trackor took us all out the the pumpkin patch where the girls all picked out a pumpkin to bring home.
