Brooklyn's Version Of "Licking The Spoon"

This is Brooklyn's version of "licking the spoon". So, Brooklyn and Matt made cookies the other day. Who doesn't love to lick the spoon and eat any remaining cookie dough? Well Brooklyn definitely falls under the category of "loves cookie dough".

On a side note Brooklyn went in for her 2 year well check up and Brooklyn is growing like a weed. She is 23.6 pounds and 32 3/4 inches tall.

Field Trip To The Tree House Museum

Justice’s pre-school class had a field trip to the Tree House Museum. She got to run around for a couple of hours with all her friends. Here is a picture of Justice and her friend Justin dressed up like Fire Fighters.
After the Tree House, Justice and I were both hungry. We stopped and grabbed some lunch to take back to my work. Justice was so exited to come back to work with me. After eating lunch, I worked and Justice colored. She was such a good girl, and I loved having her at work with me.

Brandon's Wheels

So Brandon drove up today in his new set of wheels. A white little Jeep. I cant believe that Brandon is 16 years old.
This is Brandon tickling Andrew with Madison watching the torture take place. Booker bee is in the backround eating her lip gloss.

Making Progress

Matt's really been working hard trying to get the basement ready so that insulation can be installed. So last night while Matt was finishing up some of the wiring the girls and I went down to keep him company. Matt has his ipod down there playing music while Georgia and Madison dance around to some 80's tunes.

Fun at the Fun Center

For Valentine's we went to the Classic Fun Center in Layton. (Thank You Grandma Newson) We played at the Pirates Cove and the girls maneuvered their ways up and down the maze. Then we headed over to the bounce slides where the girls wore themselves out. The girls all brought their scooters to the Fun Center. Justice is super fast on her's. As a matter of fact, Matt and I both tried to beat Justice and it was nothing but defeat.
Brooklyn really wore herself out.

Yep... More Snow

I guess it was no joke that the ground hog saw a shadow, six more weeks of winter and a lot more snow. When I got home from work I decided that the girls and I would take advantage of the snow and play around with the Rhino. I only lost Justice once by cruising around a corner and whipping her off.
Later on that day we went sledding with the Egan Family.

Brooklyn's Birthday

Here are some pictures from Brooklyn's birthday. Justice, Georgia and Madison picked out a Barbie cake for Brook ( Diamond Castle of course ). It took a couple of puffs for her to get the candles out, but she did it all by herself.
Here is a picture of the girls, its so hard to get them to all look at the camera at the same time...

BookerBee got a little toddler bed for her birthday. She really liked it... But when bed time came around it was a different story. I think that she was little scared of it. Justice and Georgia were really worried about her and wanted to keep checking in. But after about 15 minutes it was quiet and Brook was sleeping in her new bed.

Happy Birthday BookerBee

Its really hard to believe that our little girl is 2 years old today. It really seems like yesterday that you surprised your Dad and I. We like to refer to you as our Souvenir from Jamaica. Brooklyn you are such a busy little girl getting into everything that you possible can. Some of Brooklyn's little quirks:
Brooklyn is a climber, always has been. Loves to sit on top of the counter.
Barney is definitely her favorite show.
Brooklyn loves to feed/tease the dogs. Brooklyn runs around the house with a bowl of goldfish so the dogs will chase her.
Brooklyn loves to take her diaper off. ( Duct tape has become part of the diaper change routine )
BookerBee is great at giving hugs and kisses, what a big heart for such a small little girl!
We Love you Brooklyn.

Little Dare Devil

Brooklyn is such a little daredevil. Matt and I definately have our hands full with her… I really don’t remember the other girls being into everything quite like Brooklyn is, you can't turn your back for 2 seconds.
You could almost see the idea manifesting in her head. First, it started out with her seeing the little four wheeler sitting in the garage. Next she is pushing it down this hill that sits in our front yard. Before you know it she is riding down the little hill… What a thrill seeker .Justice Gave it a shot too, instead she decided to go backwards down the hill

Here is Bookerbee trying to carry the little 4-wheeler back up the hill.
