Marysvale

We took our second annual trip to Marysvale for Fathers Day and had a great time. Our first day consisted of a 4 hour drive down and getting settled into our cabin. Once we got unpacked we headed out for some riding. We took a trail up to Freemont Indian State Park. It ended up being about 5 hours, 50 miles round trip.
Here is Matt getting all crazy with the Rhino. We stopped often to cool off in the streams. Both days were very hot, in the 90's. Throwing rocks was a high light for the girls.
Matt and the girls enjoying some shishkabobs. Our Second day we headed out the east side of Marysvale. We rode for 9 hours and went about 80 miles. We made it up to Manning Meadows Reservoir and took in the beautiful scenery. The cool breeze was so nice at the top near the reservoir. We then headed back down to our cabin but were quickly stopped by a heard of 150 or more cows coming up the mountain.
Brooklyn the outlaw. In the end we waited about and hour and headed back down.
Here is what we all looked like after a day of 4 wheeling. Thank goodness the cabin that we stayed in had a shower!Cant wait to go again next year!

Happy Father Day

Fathers Day started off with some breakfast in bed for Matt, pankcakes and eggs!
Matt is such a awesome dad, the girls and I love him so much!!

After lunch we took a hike up WaterFall Caynon. Its about 3 miles round trip with a 1500 ft elevation gain. It was alot steeper of a climb than Adam's Caynon. The girls were all pretty excited to go. It was hot outside, so the twins were really struggling to keep their little legs moving. Once we got out of the sun and into the shade it was alot better. Here we are on one of our many water breaks.

We made it!

On the way back down no one could keep up with Georgia. She was the leader the whole way down.

T-Ball

Justice started T-ball and so far she has really liked it. She has had practice for about a month and will finish off with about a month of games. This level of T-ball is really about the fundamentals like learning where all the bases are and how to play.
Justice is quite the social butterfly. When she is playing a base or running the bases you can usually catch her chit chatting with the other little girls. Then you will usually hear Matt and I telling her to watch the ball! Justice has quite the arm on her and is getting better with every game.
I am sure this is the first of many seasons of ball for our family.

Hiking Adams Canyon

I cant believe I am saying this, but we actually made it to the waterfall at the end of the Adams Canyon. The best part is that we didn't even get lost. The Hike is about 3.5 miles round trip and took us about 3 1/2 hours. Georgia and Madison really surprised me. They were both troopers and did awesome. I thought for sure that they would want to be carried up but they walked the whole way up and down. When we started out it was really hot, so by the time we came across a stream King was ready for a drink. Matt and the girls. Brooklyn rode up on Matt's shoulders pretty much the entire time. She kept complaining that her knees were hurting ( tired ). Some parts of the trail were a bit steep but everyone did great.
Justice and Georgia at the waterfall. As you can see it was a bit chilly at the falls and the water was cold. By the time we reached the top it was starting to get late & the girls were cold so we didn't stay too long.We had a great time..... next is Waterfall canyon.

Brooklyn Starts Dance

Brooklyn has been waiting for this day for a very long time. I promised her that once she was potty trained she could start dance. She was so excited to get her cute little dance outfit on. The first class of every month we can watch her dance, so we all got to see what Brooklyn had learned at her first day of class.

Justice Graduates From Kindergarten!!

Justice is a Kindergarten graduate. Matt, the girls and I headed over to the school to watch Justice and all her classmates sing some songs and present their talents.
Justice and Mrs. HatchPart of the graduation ceremony was to do a talent. Justice's talent was to play catch with her Dad. She did awesome..... caught every single ball that her Dad threw her! We are so very proud of Justice. She has accomplished so much this year. One of the things that Justice has started to do this year is to write in a journal. She will sit in her room and just write. Its usually about mom, dad, her sisters or the dogs. But its so cute, and I love it.
