They are hermit crabs. The orange one is Georgia's crab, Shelly. The brown and tan one is Madison crab, Crabby. Crabby has a big pincher claw and has pinched each of the girls pretty good. Brooklyn has the pink shell. The pink one is really shy, at first we thought that it might be dead, but the crabs are nocturnal and do move around at night.

Hermit Crabs, what a great idea. My kids always want lizards and turtles but there is no way I am going to upkeep them.
Jules! I miss you. I still hope we make it to Tuscon some day to visit you. The girls are getting so big! How are you liking having a boy this time??
