All I can say is that Maddy is a brave little girl. This was Madison's second eye surgery. She basically has a very narrow tear duct and when her eye waters it pools on her lower eye instead of draining thru the tear duct. Here is Madison all ready to head off to surgery. She did not like the stylish socks that they gave her but, she was a good sport and wore them anyway.
I just love Primary Children's Hospital. Everyone is just so awesome. Madison got to pick from about 15 smells for her anesthesia, and she picked root beer. I thought for sure it would have been bubble gum or cotton candy. The surgery lasted about 45 minutes and went well. They ended up putting in an irrigation tube in the duct.
